World Trade Center, the movie, some considerations.

August 2006 – New York
Happy birthday to me. It is not easy when your birthday comes in Tisha Behav but there is always a little resturant after, for having fun. I ate in a very wonderful one, that day.
What a dream!!!
When I came out from the restaurant and I found in front of me Nicolas Cage, it was a nice birthday surprise. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That day it was the first screening of the film World Trade Center, so journalists, Vip, and crazy people all around, but I discovered it only a few minutes later, when I crossed the street.

A few months later, Milan

Oliver Stone is the director whose movies I don't usually agree with, but this film impress me.
The “World Trade Center” is an Hollywood movie, that doesn’t pretend to be a documentary on 9/11 but pure entertainment based on a tragedy that happened and still touches everyone's hearts.
I tear up and cry for the two trapped cops ( Nicolas Cage and Michael Pena) and their families. Why?
The producers made the choice to focus on how two people, who tried to save other people, found themselves in danger of death and were rescued.

The main problem of this film is that the reality was diffrent, many people didn’t come back home that day, and that's an additional reason that makes this film emotionally disturbing.

The special effects were great and you could hardly tell this had been filmed after the towers were gone. Nicolas Cage, Maria Bello and Maggie Gyllenhaal are all excellent, and Michael Pena was wonderful as Will Jimeno.

The World Trade Center is an emotional film on one of the biggest tragedy of our time, an Hollywood way not to forget and say that we can be hero just for one day.
